The Velvet Club return in 2026 with brand new singles ‘Anything’ and ‘Blue’, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter with fresh music and touring just around the corner.
From backyard parties to festival stages, the Naarm/Melbourne-based indie-rock outfit have steadily built a loyal and fast-growing fanbase through their electrifying live shows and relentless touring schedule since 2022. Crafting hazy indie-rock anthems layered with self-reflective lyricism, The Velvet Club explore the highs and lows of navigating your twenties — equal parts nostalgic, restless and hopeful. Their sound has drawn comparisons to early 2000s trailblazers like The Strokes, alongside Australian favourites DMA’S and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever.
In 2024, the band continued their ascent with the release of their EP, *Space Between* — a defining project that captured their growth both sonically and emotionally, and cemented their place in Australia’s indie landscape. The release followed a breakout run of shows that saw them tour nationally with DICE, Ra Ra Viper and The Rions, make their festival debut at Splendour in the Grass, and open for Louis Tomlinson.
With a reputation for high-energy performances and an ever-deepening catalogue of heartfelt, hook-driven tracks, The Velvet Club are poised for a powerful return in 2026 — a band stepping confidently into their next era.
