GurriersFormé à Dublin pendant la pandémie, Gurriers s’est rapidement imposé comme l’une des voix les plus incisives de l’effervescente nouvelle scène alternative irlandaise. Porté par des textes engagés, des guitares abrasives et une énergie brute héritée du post-punk et du noise rock, le quintette s’est forgé une solide réputation grâce à des concerts aussi intenses que cathartiques.Leur premier album Come And See (2024) a confirmé cette ascension fulgurante, entre un passage à Glastonbury et des tournées aux côtés de Turnstile et Kneecap. Avec Nobody’s Coming To Save You, leur deuxième album à paraître en septembre, Gurriers pousse encore plus loin son mélange de tension politique, de rage collective et d’hédonisme bien noisy. Cutting their teeth supporting acts like Enola Gay and Goat Girl, Gurriers have fast established themselves as one of the most furiously exciting bands to come out of Ireland these last few years.
